Rome heavily modded like with DEI is a pretty decent TW though. May be historical accurate ( I wouldn't know) but it's just one of the things i really like about WH, the asthetic that comes with variety in the units of different factions.

That being said if you want things like Unit variety you absolutely have to go for Rome or mod heavily because i swear to god half of all units in Attila look the same. A lot of players recommend just migration to spain at the start of the Game and then you can just sit it out while the AI cheats against itself and it fucks itself up, but thats just making it super easy for you. But I didn't like the hunnic invasion in game, totaly annoying. I liked Attila since it was way more fleshed out than rome, gave you a real challenge, and had way better siege maps. There's no clear answer how many times you have to kill him, and if you kill him or his stacks, they are back next turn without any delay. But it's just bs how weirdly wonky Attila is. I don't want to say it's blatantly unfair, since you can thrive if you try a couple of campaigns, and in fact there are easy ones like the sassanids. I had to kill him like 10 times (and a lot of other players say the same thing in forums), in the process basically crippling my empire since you have to manage rebellions, squalor, and food (which decreases over time due to climate change). Well tough shit because that's not at all true. Most ppl will tell you that you have to kill Attila "by any means" (even assassination) 3 times, then you have to kill him one more time in a battle and he's gone.
